Welcome everyone!

Thirty two artists representing a range of styles and visual arts medium combined with more than 700 visitors and the adoption of more than 60 artworks ensured the success of the first edition of Art au Pluriel held in 2007. Wanting to repeat this experience, we are launching the second visual art juried exhibit which will take place under the same roof.

This second edition of Art au Pluriel will take place at the Centre communautaire Tétreau, located at 361 de Lucerne Blvd, Gatineau, Quebec,

November 14 2008 from 7 pm to 9 pm
(jazz music with Andrée-Anne Maranda and Jean-Pierre Allain)

November 15, 2008 from 10 am to 5 pm

November 16, 2008 from 10 am to 4 pm.

This juried art exhibit is opened to all visual artists (painters to illustrators, sculptors to wood turners, pastellists to photographers, etc.) of the Outaouais greater area and to visual artists of surrounding regions.

We are delighted to inform you that Jean-Yves Guindon, the watercolour artist will be, once again, the Honorary President of Art au Pluriel. Born in Buckingham (QC) and winner of many prizes and mentions, he inspires himself mostly from nature and Quebec landscapes. His paintings distinguish themselves by their luminosity, their sensitivity and the interiority of their message. We are please to have his support for this art exhibit.

A word from our Honorary President

A Second Art Show for Art au Pluriel

The exhibit Art au Pluriel held last November at Gatineau was truly a success. As Honorary President I was delighted with the show and its aftermath.

Art au Pluriel has become the primary source of the regional expression of culture. As said in the opening speech on November 16 2007, by the Mayor of the City of Gatineau, Marc Bureau: "The arts are fully expanding in Gatineau."

To artists and artisans, come showcase your work and come share your passion and know-how with others.

To the people of the Outaouais, come encourage our homegrown talent during this unique artistic showcase.

As spokesperson of Art au Pluriel for another year, I feel privileged to support this noble cause – an art show that promotes the expression of many talents.

Participate and be part of this important event in Outaouais.
